Illustrated in the below image is a flow where the AL3 Reader step is used to read an Acord AL3 file that stores the data in a Buffer destination step.
Adding an AL3 Reader Step
To add an AL3 Reader step in a flow, follow the below instructions:
1. Click on the highlighted icon as shown in the below image.
2. The below page will appear. Select or search for a Reader step to pull out the source data. Click on the Reader tab and select AL3 as shown in the image below.
Configuring an AL3 Reader Step
Illustrated in the below image is the configuration that is available in the AL3 Reader step.
Use Name checkbox – Uses the name of the element instead of the code.
Verbose checkbox – Reads the definition of the file and automatically map it out.
Using an AL3 Reader step
To use an AL3 Reader step, follow the instructions below:
1. Click on the play button on the AL3 step as highlighted in the image below:
2. Click the highlighted area in the image below to upload an AL3 file.
3. Click the Test button as shown in the image below.
