Illustrated in the below image is a flow where the TAR GZ Reader step is used to read tar.gz files. The Filter step is used to filter for specific data requirements and a Buffer destination step to store the data in.
Adding a TAR GZ Reader Step
To add a TAR GZ Reader step in a flow, follow the below instructions:

1. Click on the highlighted icon as shown in the below image.
2. The below page will appear. Select or search for a reader step to pull out the source data. Click on the Reader tab and select TAR GZ as shown in the image below.

Path Field

Specify the path of the file that you require to read. The path must be specific to that file that needs to be read.
If the path is not provided, the first file in the folder will be used. The field is case-sensitive, so it is important that it matches the exact file name.
Using a TAR GZ Reader step
To use a TAR GZ Reader step, follow these instructions:
