Mercantile Reader Step

The Mercantile Reader step is used to read Mercantile files and turn them into records.

Illustrated in the below image is a flow where the Mercantile Reader step is used to read Mercantile files. The Filter step is used to filter for specific data. A Calculator step is used to test the Filter step and a Buffer destination step to store the data in.

Adding a Mercantile Reader Step

To add a Mercantile Reader step in a flow, follow the below instructions:

1. Click on the highlighted icon as shown in the below image.

2. The below page will appear. Select or search for a Reader step to pull out the source data. Click on the Reader tab and select Mercantile as shown in the image below.

Configuring a Mercantile Reader Step

Illustrated in the below image is the configuration that is available in the Mercantile Reader step.

File Types – The type of files that must be processed. Leave blank to process all files.


Using a Mercantile Reader step

To use a Mercantile Reader step, follow the instructions below:

1. Click on the play button on the Mercantile step as highlighted in the image below:

2. Click the highlighted are in the image below to upload a file.

3. Click the Test button as shown in the image below.
