The basics of the web interface

Layout

When you log into Synatic, the main user interface/dashboard will look as illustrated in the below images.

The left-hand menu column is where the Operations Views, Gateway, Global, and Solutions are organized, managed, created, and selected.

The middle menu bar gives access to the Dashboard and monitoring functions of various components such as:

  • Community – shows the latest articles on the Community site.

  • Event Logs - shows details of all the actions performed on the system.

  • Runs – shows details of all the runs that have been performed.

  • Run Stats - shows stats about the runs completed as well as all Run errors.

  • Record Stats - shows stats about all the completed records as well as records errors.

The right-hand side has the Account Menu which gives access to managing account Profiles, Settings, Logs, Storage Stats, and Linked Orgs.


Expanding items

Menu items with preceding arrows can be expanded or collapsed by clicking on the arrow.

Creating new objects

New objects of a particular type can be created by clicking the three menu dots (⋮) adjacent to the menu items.

Opening and editing objects

To edit objects, click the three menu dots (⋮) adjacent to it and click the Edit button.

Menu Bar

The menu Bar is located at the top right of the screen. It consists of the the following menu items:

Getting Help

At the bottom right-hand of the screen is a messenger icon, where you can get help. Click to open it and search for help on a topic, or send a message to our support team for more assistance.
