In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a view with the SyncFlow control. The SyncFlow view lets you view and monitor the functioning of the processing logic in the selected flow with the ability to correct any anomalies that may occur.

Creating an Ops Portal SyncFlow View
To begin, you must first open the Operations Portal you created earlier, go to the Operations Portal menu and click ⨁ to add a new View.
Give the View a name and a meaningful description.
Select the Control type
Each Ops Portal view can be configured to use a specific control type.
For this tutorial, let's select the SyncFlow option which provides a view into any Synatic Flow that returns a result.
Click on the Control field.
The selection list opens, now select the SyncFlow option.
The SyncFlow control window for this View opens.
Select the Flow
Now let's select a specific Flow.
Click ⨁ to create a new Flow or alternatively,
Click in the Flow field and select the Flow you want to use from the selection list.
Select the Output
The SyncFlow output offers two output types:
Click in the Output field.
Select the File type you want to use from the selection list.
For this tutorial, select the JSON option in the selection list:
JSON - Synatic uses the commonly used JSON file format which can be displayed in most browsers.
FILE - The file option immediately downloads a JSON formatted file to your computer.
Select the following options to further define your View:
Leave the Allow File Upload deselected.
For this tutorial, select Auto as the Return Source.
Select the Execute Automatically checkbox to execute the view automatically.
Save the View
When you have completed the View's configuration, click the Save View button.
Test the View
It is always advisable to test each view you create in Synatic's Ops Portal.
1. Select the Ops Portal option in the Account menu to open the Operations Portal. This is also the method used by the operations personnel to process these views.
2. Select the Ops Portal view you created from the list of available views.
3. Click the Execute Flow button to run the Flow in the View.
