Manage organization settings for your Synatic account

The settings option allows you to change the organization name in the Synatic instance. However, when logging in, you can only log in by the organization title and not the organization name.

To access the organization Settings, click on your username initials located on the top right of the page to open the account menu. Then click on settings as highlighted in the below image.


Organization Details

Organization Title – The title is used and displayed when you log into your Synatic instance.

Organization Name – The organization name is teh name that is displayed after you log in your Synatic instance. This can be edited as highlighted in the image below.

API Keys

This allows you to create an API Key that is used in your organization. Many API keys can be created.

1. Click on the Generate New Api Key button as highlighted in the image below.

2. Provide a key description.

3. Click on the Create Key button.

Created keys will be shown under the Existing Keys section as illustrated in the image below.

Legacy API Keys

Regenerating system keys removes the old key and could result in connected systems not being able to access the services if their keys are not updated. The Legacy API Key is the main/parent key that can be used in the organization.

To regenerate the legacy API key;

1. Click on the Regenerate Api Key button highlighted in the image below.

2. An API Key will be displayed as highlighted in the image below. Click on the copy button to copy the key and save the API key in a safe place.
