Illustrated in the below image is a flow where the Record Generator is used as a source step. A Combine step combines the records into a single output file and the Excel Writer step creates/generates an Excel document. The Run File destination step delivers an output Excel file that can be downloaded.
The Record Generator source step is shown in the image below.
Adding a Combine Step
To add a Combine step in a flow, follow the below instructions:
1. Click on the highlighted icon as shown in the below image.
2. The below page will appear. Select or search for a Combiner step to pull out the source data. Click on the Combiner tab and select Combine as shown in the image below.
3. Illustrated in the below image is the Combine step. There is no configuration required. Click on the Save Step button to save the step.
4. The Run File step is shown below. The File Type has been selected as Xlsx.
Using a Combiner Step
1. Click the Execute Flow button shown in the image below:
2. Click the Create Run button.
3. Click the download button in the Run File step to download the output file.
