How to Export and Import a Flow

You can export and import a flow to use on different organizations/environments.

Exporting a Flow

To export a flow, please follow the instructions below:

1. Click the three menu dots (⋮) adjacent to the flow name on the sidebar (1).

2. Click on Export Flow (2).

3. Select a location on your computer to save the downloaded JSON file for the flow.

Importing a Flow

To import a flow, please follow the instructions below:

1. Click the three menu dots (⋮) adjacent to the solution you want to import the flow in (e.g. Sales Integration) (1).

2. Click on Import / Export (2).

3. Click on Import Flow (3).

4. The below page will appear. Click in the highlighted area to select the file from your Downloads folder or drag the file to the highlighted area.

5. Once the file is selected, the below page will appear. Change the flow name (if required) and then click on the Create button as shown below.

6. Illustrated below is the imported flow’s components. The View Config File button is where you can view a component’s configuration. You can either select the connection or you can create it by one of the following ways:

  • Clicking on the Create From File button for each component or clicking on the Accept All From File button to create all the components.

OR

  • Clicking on the highlighted icon to create a new connection.

7. The below page will appear. Click on the Save button once you are done making the necessary changes (if required).

8. Illustrated below is the imported flow that is in a solution in the different organization.
