The BenefitPoint Source step is used to retrieve records from Benefit Point. An account is required for this step to work.

Illustrated in the image below is a flow where the BenefitPoint Source step is used.


Adding a BenefitPoint Source Step

To add a BenefitPoint Source step in a flow, follow the instructions below:

1. Click on the plus icon as shown in the image below.

2. The page below will appear. Select or search for BenefitPoint as shown in the image below.


Configuring a BenefitPoint Source Step

Illustrated in the image below is the configuration that is available in the BenefitPoint Source step.

A connection is required for this step. Click on the highlighted plus button to create a new connection.

Entity – The entity or method to use to retrieve. Click on the dropdown arrow to select from the list. Once selected, the Reference URL will be generated.

NOTE: Some of the Entities will require further details. The Statement Entity has been selected in this example.

Enable Debug checkbox – Show debug results

Retry – The option can be enabled by clicking on the checkbox. It will retry an HTTP call to the BenefitPoint Web Services API.

  • Times – Set the number of retries to attempt.

  • Delay – Set the delay, in seconds, between the retries.


Using a BenefitPoint Source Step

To use a BenefitPoint Source Step, follow the instructions below:

1. Click on the play icon on the Calculator step after a BenefitPoint Source Step as highlighted in the image below:

2. Click the Test button as shown in the image below.
